Prime Minister Stephen Harper today attended the Official Opening and Statue Unveiling of the Fallen Four Memorial Park, a tribute to the four RCMP officers who were murdered at a nearby farm on March 3, 2005, in what was the worst single-day loss of life for the RCMP in its history.
1608 is a historical date for you, for the province of Quebec and for all of Canada, because July 3rd, 1608, exactly 400 years ago today, really marks the beginning of what we have become today.
